Parabellum, latin for prepair for war. Not so much war with others, but with the environment itself. Originally designed as a true survival experience, thirst, temprature etc. Over the years, some mods updated, some did not, so the pack had to evolve. 

With the creation of the Discovery series of packs however, Parabellum will be returning to it's origins in the next version.

Discover: A New Dawn, was built on what Parabellum was slowly progressing into, however needed something that made it different.

A New Dawn is a low technology modpack with the emphasis on dungeon diving, and dimensions. Here you won't have to worry about thirst, but it's what's in the water that will kill you. With 10+ dimensions, you won't be short on ways to die. Good luck.

Discovery: Pioneer Edition builds on A New Dawn, but take place further in the future. Dungeons have been destroyed, playerkind has made many technological advancements. The next logical step in advancement would be space travel, so that's what we did. Pioneer Edition is about once you can survive earth, then you try to survive the unforgiving void that is space. What challenges await are unknown, perhaps not knowing is a challenge in itself.
